Kings and Farmers

Yesterday, a "king" said to me, "Erika, you are not a gardener." (By the way, it wasn't my husband). Then he proceeded to give me all the reasons why I couldn't be one.

I said, "Of course I am."

Today, that same "king" came into my yard again and said, "Erika, you are not a farmer."

I told him, "I'm anything I want to be." 

   And then I stooped down to take a picture and remembered a quote my friend Terri sent me:

If God calls you to be a Farmer, don't stoop to become a King.

And that reminded me of this scripture:

"The farmer sows the word."

                                                                                 Mark 4:14

Don't let anyone but God tell you who you are!
